Our products are designed to enhance your style with sophistication; at NatureKnit, we are all about cashmere, quality and class. Based in Kathmandu, NatureKnit manufactures the finest quality cashmere and pashmina products and has come a long way since its journey began in 2004. Today, our products are exported across the globe to notable multinational brands, its various cashmere and blended garments standing up to stringent manufacturing tests and made only from SGS-tested yarns.
We have a diverse range of products, our quality and craftsmanship evident in each of them: from knitted apparels to sweaters, cardigans to woven rugs, and from scarves to stoles. Using the finest quality Nepalese wool, our products are a testament to world-class manufacturing processes applied to traditional heritage. WHAT WE DO
Knitting
We make our products from the best SGS-tested yarns. We have a diverse range of knitted cashmere products for both men and women, as well as for children
Our sweaters, pullovers, cardigans and other cashmere accessories are available across the world under the branding of leading clothing companies.
Adhering to global standard production processes, at NatureKnit, we utilize traditional Nepalese hand-knitting techniques in flat knitting machines during the working. At the same time, our manufacturing processes are auto-systemized using advanced software, merging the best of both works to create luxury knitwear that has a vintage feel.
Our multiple hand-knitting machines are capable of large production on short time limits without compromising on quality and creation accuracy. At NatureKnit, the manufacturing process begins with the knitting of various sub-parts such as the sleeves, the necks and the torsos, which are then linked together by hand on advanced linking machines. The knitting process is auto-systemized by ERP software, thus ensuring flawless garments that highlight the best of modern and traditional techniques. Further, our department-specific Quality Control Desk inspects all garment pieces for holistic flaws and any other errors during the manufacturing process. It is only after the products are quality-guaranteed that we label the cashmere, before packing them for dispatch.

WHAT WE DO
Weaving
Nepal, home to some of the world’s highest mountains, is also famous for the quality of its pashmina, which comes from the finest quality cashmere wool from the high mountain.
Nepalese textiles have had a long and illustrious history, with Nepalese pashmina being renowned as one of the world’s best. Continuing in that fine tradition, we use the finest quality of cashmere wool to weave pashmina shawls, mufflers, scarves, warmers, blankets and other products.
Further, using the best of traditional Nepalese techniques, international designs are embellished into the garments, bringing out a product that can be held up to the highest of standards.
At Natureknit, we believe in the authenticity of our products; we utilize hand-weaving techniques to the fullest in every way. Our pure cashmere shawls are hand-loomed to preserve the softness that would otherwise deteriorate on an automatic high-vibrating weaving loom. Our yarns are warped on wooden frames by traditional methods. The hand loom is a painstaking process that requires uniformity and utmost precision. Yet, that is how we at NatureKnit believe the exquisite luxury of cashmere shawls emerge. We further hand-massage all our woven products to release the stiffness in the wool, before quality-checking them under the highest international standards for packing and delivery.
Despite our focus on traditional Nepalese methods, we believe in utilizing modern technological innovations to deliver the finest product to our customers. For our yarns, the scouring, carding, warping, shedding and opening processes all use these technological innovations to make both tight-spun and light-spun varieties of yarn. The production process is controlled by an expert team of textile engineers, and our digital database ensures flawless cashmere shawls, scarves and other woven garments for our customers.

Hand Stitching
Nepal’s textile work is famous across the world, and at NatureKnit, we use the best of traditional hand-stitching techniques in our products.
From rugged stitching to neat decorative work, we rely on traditional methods to give our products a classical hand-stitched finish, unlike machine-tailored garments of our competitors.
At NatureKnit, we pride ourselves not just on the quality of our garments, but also on our range of stitching processes, such as top-stitches, running stitches, buttonhole stitches, back stitches and basted stitches – all of which are done by hand by our master weavers.
At NatureKnit, we also strive to deliver a product whose stitching is smooth, less visible and does not pucker the fabric’s texture – thus ensuring the product is of the highest quality and classiest finish. We specialize in fringe-finishing, hand seam work, pick stitching and endless stitching artwork. These finishes all echo the craftsmanship that NatureKnit puts in its products.

Hand Embellishments
We believe in the beauty of handicraft. This belief makes all of our products, and their handmade designs and embroidery, superior in quality and design than our competitors.
Our embellishments are neat, finished and detailed, despite being done manually using traditional Nepalese methods, adding a rare vintage touch to an already-elegant garment product.
Despite our reliance on hand-crafted products, our embellished fabrics complement the chicness of international products. Our artists have long years of experience that has been handed down from generation to generation, and we utilize their techniques to the best. We put in extra effort and care in our embroidery practices, using gold and silver wires, while our sequin work, beading and quilting is made to the design order. Using the best techniques, we deliver a product that is a class apart from our competitors.
